Don’t kill your plants…

Ever notice those brown and yellow leaves that are on your plants or in the bottom of the pot???

Did you know that they emit a gas called Ethylene Gas, which actually kills your plants? Most people don’t know this, but that is one thing that is essential to keeping plants healthy. Prune off all the bad leaves. If you don’t they will multiply!!

Reasons why these leaves occur: because they are already there, too much water, lack of water, and just the natural course of shedding that a plant goes thru. Usually a lack of water, or too much sun, is the cause if you are getting alot of these and you are removing them frequently. They can be caused by too much water too. If you suspect this pull out your plant and check the root system. If it is water-logged, then there’s your answer.
